foam perhaps. My first reaction is to reach for the duct tape, or
electrical tape.

In fact, the eyepiece on the MP is attached to the
camera's top in a way entirely different from previous
M cameras.
Is the new method more prone to dust penetration? You
may be the first to identify a possible shortcoming.
