Several years ago, I worked with a guy who decorated his office space with a
couple Ansel Adams posters. He did not pay more than $15 apiece for them.
I am not convinced that having affordable posters cheapens the original.

I am looking forward to getting Ted's book. Divide the price by the number
of images inside, and does that cheapen his work? I'm not sure exactly how
royalties work for posters and books, but I suspect he's not getting much
more per book than the Getty photographers are getting per poster.

Having fewer, higher priced items may mean less money for the photographers
and fewer people who get a chance to appreciate their work.
