Subject: [Leica] Well, I for One Prefer Focus Tabs & Clip-On Shades

I don't know, Phong, I just like pushing on the focus tab, I seem able
to make finer adjustments with the tab than with barrel focus.

Regarding built-in shades...and I admit that lockable built in shades
are a BIG improvement...if you think replacing lost clip-on shades is
expensive, just wait until you want to replace a damaged built-in shade!

It just a small detail, but I never understand why some people
prefer the focus tab.

As for collapsible hoods, making them lockable is the right
solution. I prefer built-in hoods over removable hoods,
if they provide the same protection from flare. If they are removable,
I am sure to lose them over a long time, and they are expensive
to replace.
