Gee Phil,
This is kinda like a land braggin' rights contest. ;-) You should visit our
"Big Island!" :-)Vancouver Island and go for a drive, it's only about 500
miles top to bottom. But around 60 miles east west in width. Mountains,
ocean on all sides and great Salmon fishing. ;-) And it takes forever to
drive top to bottom as it usually makes for a two day trip. Well OK a day
and half if you don't run into lines of logging trucks and mule skinner
wagons. ;-)

And yes I've photographed it top to bottom, around and across with Leica's
several times.

Actually I understand the United Kingdom isn't as big top to bottom. ;-)
