Folks -

This whole issue of lack of credit for printers is another one-a-them
hot button issues with me. In the world of recorded music the mix
engineer is always given his or her due and the role of the printer in
the photo world is direcly analagous. I can't tell you how many
exhibitions I've seen (and I see a lot) where I've done my damndest to
find out who made the killer prints with no success and often get
bemused, patronizing reactions from people who act as if I'm naive for
asking the question.

Regarding this exhibition in particular, the printing quality of both
the classic B&W Carnival Strippers stuff and the newer available-light
color pieces was absolutely terriffic.
