When I saw comparisons of shots with the Nokton and the Summicron, I could not tell the difference. -----Original Message----- From: lug-bounces+jls=runbox.com@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+jls=runbox.com@leica-users.org] On Behalf Of Phong Sent: Tuesday, April 27, 2004 8:04 AM To: Leica Users Group Subject: RE: [Leica] Collapsible Summicron 50/2 This is exactly my conclusion. I have tried the Elmar f2.8 and the Heliar f3.5, but in the end went back to the Summicron which in my case is the current latest LTM version which is a tad big for a LSM camera. Since I am paying the penalty for weight and size, I may try the CV Nokton 50mm 1.5 next. - Phong Jeffery Smith wrote: > > The new Elmar is a great lens, but the f/2.8 is where I run into > problems. > I carry one when I know I'll be outdoors.
