Subject: [Leica] the Rose on/off switch

There is no practical reason to even waste time using the on/off switch on the MP, all it does is prevent the light meter from kicking in when the shutter is cocked.  I haven't turned the thing to the off position ever, and yet have had to change the batteries.

Perhaps we are not discussing the current MP though its on/off switch 
is not as well executed as the M7.
