I would rather shoot film in B&W if I'm going to print it B&W. For
converting color to B&W, I use the curve levels in PS to help with tonal
range. I find that Fuji NPS and NPH work great in B&W. For digital, I added
a custom curve to my Leica D100, great for converting to B&W. Less
post-processing.
