Also, when moving the camera abruptly, there's this annoying time lapse kind of delay. And ofcourse in TL light, it ain't ideal either. Nevertheless I adore the way it handles and functions, and still find it a real pleasure to take pictures with it, day after day. > From: Frank Dernie <Frank.Dernie@btinternet.com> > Reply-To: Leica Users Group <lug@leica-users.org> > Date: Sat, 27 Mar 2004 18:33:38 +0000 > To: Leica Users Group <lug@leica-users.org> > Subject: Re: [Leica] d2 viewfinder > > You can't zoom a M style viewfinder and the G Contax is no better than > the D2 finder IMHO! > Frank > > On 27 Mar 2004, at 16:58, Leonard J Kapner wrote: > >> To be blunt, I have one and it's been hard to get used to. >> >> I've been a Leica RF user for 45+ years and squinting at a tiny >> pixellated >> TV screen isn't my idea of technology application of the best kind, >> other >> than it's electronically WYSIWYG, not optically approximate. >> >> To my thinking it's a TAINT... t'ain't a rangefinder and t'ain't a >> reflex. >> :-) >> >> As a solid state compromise, I guess it's OK, but I'd rather have one >> or the >> other optical alternative.
