CFs in turn are cheaper than SD. Mb per Mb, SD is about twice as expensive as microdrives and about 1.3x as expensive as CF cards. I have a Kodak 14n with both types of cards - and at 16Mb a pop for RAW files, I'd rather have cheap, mass onboard storage that is not as volatilely priced as memory chips. Quoting "B. D.
