It replaced the 2450 that I have and camed out a few months later. My point is that if the 2450 works well, the 3200 will work even better, but you probably won't be able to get it in a couple of months, because it looks like Epson is replacing even it with a better model now. You can pick up the 4870 (top of their line) for the same price as I paid for the 2450 (used to be the top of their line). I'd definitely go with the 4870 and skip the 3200. You don't _have_ to replace them just because a new model comes out. The 3200 didn't have that much up on the 2450. The 4870 does. (But I won't be replacing mine anyway.
