Hi Dan,
It allows the photog to completely isolate the subject in the event of any
distracting back grounds. And ads a different emphasis on the body lines.

My son Scott shot the Ottawa Renegades Pro. Football  Dance Team calander
for 2004 and he used 400 and 600 for some of those . Trust me guys these
gals are definately in a "no touch" zone! :-) And the farther away from them
using very long glass is much easier on yer blood pressure. ;-) Whew I never
had women cheer leaders to photograph like these. ;-)
