For a studio setting where handholdability wasn't a premium, I'd go for 
an SLR over a RF. You get the benefits of interchangeable backs and 
finders, and greater flexibility on what you buy.

I've had a Bronica SQ-A kit that I got from KEH in 'excellent' 
condition for a couple of years, and I love it. SLR body, waist-level 
finder, 80/2.8 lens, 120 back - then it was $750, but I've seen them 
going for less now.
