Mike, The camera bellows were replaced and the lens/shutter cleaned and checked by Jurgen Kreckel. I also have a rangefinder that sits on the flash shoe, but focus is still hit or miss.

I spent a lot of time with folders that had leaks, sticky shutters, etc, $10 salvation army specials. I decided to spend the extra $$ for clean cameras and haven't regretted it one bit.

The Billy Record is an interesting camera. I have one but haven't used
it in many years. I had a bit of trouble with it since it does not have
a coupled rangefinder so focus was hit or miss.

I had it and a couple other old folders in a sort of display on the
mantle and the bellows all dried out and disintegrated. Fortunately
none were especially rare. So be careful and keep the camera closed
when not in use. Someday I want to learn how to make bellows and will
recondition some of those.
