Hi B. D. & Tim,
I can't imagine any news person worth their salt accepting the medal as it
would make he or she look like a Richard Cranium! Or worse, a Rectal
Orifice!

Just a government ploy to hopefully keep a lid on truthful stories not yet
revealed. Or to make sure the embeds keep their mouths shut.

It's an insult to the world of journalism and should be written up in that
manner. What, they got a medal for lying or keeping their mouths shut? And
no matter which way it gets cut it's a black day for the news medium.

Is there any previous war time situations where media received a medal for
doing their job?
