The Contax IIa is a great camera, probably the best RF camera until the 
advent of the M3. I have one just like it with the mechanical flash 
synchronization. I was told by an old Contax repairman at Swiss Camera Repair in New York 
that the shutter needs to be exercised regularly or the grease will gum up and a 
very expensive CLA will be needed. Contaxes don't wear out. They just die from 
disuse.
