Leica will have more than a slightly hard time if they are selling theirs for 6. They would long in advice have time to see this and to change their mission objectives. If not abort. I'm pretty hard core Leica and donšt own a Cosina anything yet but if I'm right on the prices of the digital Cosina - Leica bodies this will soon change. There's no reason why Cosina could not do a bang up job on this job. And I'm giving LEICA plenty of leeway to screw it up. As they've gotten off to bang up start already with this crazy 6 grand in 2 years market product nitch fiasco. Sounds to me like they are winging it. Someone sat bolt upright in bed, called a meeting at 3 am and said "start digital M now or become insolvent". Insolvent in what solution? 6 grand in 2 years aint it. 6 grand in 2 years is goodbye baby to a solvent company. 6 grand in 2 years means saving just under 10 bucks a day. Lets see; join Costco. Goodbye HBO. Set thermostat to 64. Buy ten pound bags of beans and rice and backup CrockPots of various denominations.
