Very nice presentation, not only the photographs but the WEB page design as
well.  I particularly like your use of minimalist .gifs that do not distract
from the images.     I agree with Erik about the reflecting flag photograph
and that you should further develop the appearance of your resume.   I am
not troubled with the horizontal scrolling photo story.  It presents
something different and shows your ability to be creative.  It did take me a
minute to figure out what you were doing (i.e. had to look at my browser
scroll bar).   Perhaps you could put something in your content to help the
viewer understand the need to scroll horizontally (use of next.gifs?).  Once
I figured that out, however, I did find the horizontal presentation
appealing.
