P.S. I would definitely recommend using Xtol now...I've had mine
processed in Acufine and Xtol, and the Xtol is much smoother...if you're
looking for that 60's look, then go with Acufine - but if you're looking
for better results, try the Xtol....

I'd say your results at 800 are pretty much on. I'd check out some of
Jim Marshall's(The Godfather of Rock & Roll Photography) work he shot
everything with Tri-X @ 800 in D-76.
