My mother died of cancer 18 months ago at the age of 69 which to my mind was still too young even if to you she was an old fart. I refrained from photographing her while in hospital as that was not how I wanted to remember her. My father has some photos of her from much happier times in his house, and that to me is my mother, not the pained and dying woman on the hospital bed with no hair.
