The 35 1.2 does block a chunk of that bottom right side of the frame  a 
few times I have noticed it and had to guess on my framing but not much 
maybe 3% of the time when I use it.  I only have the normal lens shade 
not the slotted one but I don't think it would make much of a 
difference.  It is still my favorite lens.
