She does four or five circumcisions per month in the hospital and the family almost never photographs the procedure. This is nothing like the Bris at which it is the father's responsibility to hold his son, a moment of great awe for me when my son's Bris was performed. The Covenant of the Bris is the thread that ties all Jews and Moslems back to Abraham.
