Subject: [Leica] Photos in Boston
From: "Bill Harting" <wharting@verizon.net>

Reviews of two photography shows in Boston in the Globe today, and on page
one, a picture of a nattly dressed man leaping Bresson-like over a puddle
(except he is carrying an umbrella and talking on a cell phone).

The combination was reminiscent of the lamented era when the city supported
the Boston Review of Photography and the Views newspaper, that made it seem
the city was a hotbed of photographic activity.

(the headline, "Postcards of desolate horizons", generates webpage links
with companies that produce postcards -- software works so hard for us,
doesn't it?)

and there does not seem to be a link to the second review of a show at the
carpenter Center at Harvard.
