Subject: RE: [Leica] 90mm 4.0 for CL question

The current 90mm Elmarit is an excellent lens, but it's
almost as big and heavy as the 90mm Summicron, and so I prefer the Summicron
for its extra f-stop.

The old "skinny" 90mm Tele-Elmarit (not the "fat" one) is
about the same size and weight as the 90mm Elmar-C, and of course it too
offers an extra f-stop (over the f/4 lens). I cannot compare the two
optically, but I can tell you that I'm very happy with my Tele-Elmarit.

I have been very happy with my 90/4 C and it is small
