Not just an act of pure emotion but not based on the quality either. Some
customers _know_ about Hasselblads and Leicas. You use one, you can charge
more because they know they are top quality cameras. Now the Mamiya lenses
will blow you over too, but Mamiya doesn't have the same trademark with
the man on the street (other branches, yes).

Over and above that, big boys like their toys too :)
