Already last year I noticed an alarming shortage of the 1-liter bottles at the various airport shops I visit, and the gentleman at Whisky World at Heathrow explained that they did not bottle enough in that size, and hence the tax-free shops are short. Now, however, I am having trouble finding it even in the 750 ml size in the regular liquor stores in the Netherlands. Given the aging requirements of Lagavullin, this potentially means no supplies for several years--eeekk!!!
