It's also great with some brown sugar! 

Another nice winter recipe is roasted root vegetables. Take some parsnips,
rutabagas, potatoes, and turnips, slice real thin, toss in olive oil, salt
and pepper, and roast on a baking sheet in the oven until they're crispy
around the edges. Those are REAL good!

I don't know who posted the note about cooking acorn squash with butter and
orange but we did that tonight and it was FABULOUS. Now we're wondering
about adding a bit of crushed fresh cranberries...
