Wow! That would be so much fun, to pick them right off the tree. And a peach
that has ripened on the tree--like those you can get in roadside stands--is
so yummy and sweet. I'll be right over!

Gleaning of Georgia Belle Peaches by the St.Andrews Society at the Springs 
Farm in Fort Mill, South Carolina. On one Saturday, 28 volunteers picked 
6450 pounds of peaches and 1000 ears of white corn which were donated to 8 
local hunger-relief agencies.
