I am working on it now,  in the hope that others may be helped,  I
will post this to list, but after this maybe we'll take this off
list... I cleaned the printer heads twice, downloaded the latest beta
version of gimp print (through versiontracker)and properly loaded it,
checked the configuration... and it seems to be working now... I am
rather surprised but... voila !....
