Studied photography as exemplified by the work of Gibson, Franks, 
Stieglitz  etc. has been around for decades. The decisive moment is 
'simply' when the shutter is released and the result conditioned by the 
quality of anticipation and/or perception of that decision, and
luck. Columnist write 'opinion', it is the reporter who—is supposed 
to—present the facts...jf
