Subject: [Leica] a Digital experience I wish I hadn't had..

Yesterday, on one of my occasional visits to the City (San Francisco) I
stopped by Adolph Gasser's, still the leading photo equipment store, to ask
the price of a roll of HP5+. The grizzled gentleman behind the pro film
counter - he's been there forever - looked it up on his computer and quoted
something like $5.50. When I said, "film has really gotten expensive" he
said, "so maybe you should go digital!"
