That's a wide open question Vick! What's your first body and what do you
do with it and what would the "second" body be expected to do? Back it
up? Hold different film? Be something new exciting and different from
the first? There's a point that is repeatedly made on the LUG except it
or not that the second body should be the same as the first body. But
perhaps if the P works out for you you'd trade in your first body for
one as well.
I found a second body made me much less afraid of using my first.
Take it where no Leica has been before.

IN many peoples mind a second body is a backup with less features than
the first. Like a spare tire which is not a full tire but takes up less
room in your trunk. When you get to the next gas station you get back to
using your "real" camera.

I can see that getting a "P." could make that your "first" camera. You'd
grab it first. And it's more expensive and solidly built than the M6 and 7.
A "P" might spoil me. Same for you. I found it's "feel" amazing.
