Both the 5.6V Rollei and Minox 35s work okay on 6V.
B&H carries silver-oxide versions (PX27?) which work
fine. But it's easier just to devise some sort of
adapter sleeve for the Minox, then use lithium or
silver "76" cells (4x) or 1/3N cells (2x). The
official Minox conversion kit doesn't perform any
voltage conversion-it's just an adapter sleeve and two
1/3N cells, but it's a little handier than the
homebrewed alternative and worthwhile if your old
battery cover has seen better days.
