Hi B.D.,
As I to have been trapped on a few occasions, they were absolute hell.:-(
One time it was so bad I was hoping I'd throw-up and ruin the showing! :-)
No such luck. Next time it's finger down the throat! ;-)

And this guy espoused the glories ("should read gories") of his slides and
how great they were... "because he shot them all with his new Leica!!!!"
Oskar Barnack would've thrown his prototype Leicas in the river after the
first half dozen slides they were so bad! ;-)

On another I thought how wonderful it would be to find the person who
invented modern slide projectors, tie him to a chair for 24 hours of hell
watching, followed by staking him on an ant hill, pore liquid honey over his
bare belly and leave him another 24 hours!

I mean I'm sure many have sat through similar "showings" only to swear
they'll never ever go to the persons home again no matter what kind of
single malt scotch they're serving! ;-)
