I wish the railing wasn't at a slight angle, but I can't do too much about 
that because the film plane wasn't parallel to the railing, and I was 
higher.  I *was* photographing the people, not the ship.  :-)  So rotating 
slightly to make it look right on one side makes it look more wrong on the 
other.  The maddening thing is that the distant shoreline (cropped off all 
of the versions) *is* level.

This resolves the vertical line issue, but I think it's going too far:
