Subject: [Leica] More Tanzania (color)

I've put up some more shots from Tanzania, and specifically from Bagamoyo,
the exit terminal for the East Africa slave trade. It is also the town
from which Livingstone started his travels in Africa. He estimated that
for every one slave that made it to Bagamoyo, 10 died on the 3 month trek
from the area around Lake Tangayika.

It's like a ghost town ... with 30,000 inhabitants. The Germans lost it to
the British in WWI but even before that, the German administration moved
to Dar es Salaam and the town was abondoned by them.
