I talked about this to leica, and I had some first reaction like "Leica really wants to devellop this, but the tech currently is not able, the M system is not dead, Leica doesn't see any film supply problem in the future". Then I gave Leica my idea of the displaced microlens, and have no answer yet, it can come or not, I don't know. But It is sure if Leica is not interested, and if I see everything is technically feasable, I will try to contact some society or group to have a prototype devellopped. Thanks for your answer, Best regards to all Gregoire Vandenschrick - ----- Original Message ----- From: "JCB" <jcb@visualimpressions.com> To: <leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us> Sent: Tuesday, September 02, 2003 5:22 AM Subject: [Leica] Re: Re: Digital back for Leica M, sequel, precision and so on > At 05:36 PM 9/1/2003 -0700, Brian Reid wrote: > >I thought it was rude, too.
