I am spoiled perhaps by the viewfinder of the SL (and by Contax RTS-III),
but the R4-R7 bodies for me leave something to be desired.  And the R8 is
just not a good ergonomic or economic fit for me.

I simply love the 19mm R, but am having difficulty finding a suitable body
for it.  My SL is being checked over by Sherry right now.  Will the early
version 19mm R fit the SL?  I know the later version does not, which was
part of my rationale for starting this whole Leica R-Canon EOS thing for me
anyway.

Maybe I'd be better off just slapping the 19mm R on my M7.
