Adobe 1998 RGB has a much wider color gamet (color space). Which is why they look flat. You have to calibrate everything differently if you switch color spaces. sRGB is a Windows color space originally that is aimed at ink-jet printers and computer peripherals. It's good for consumer equipment. A wider color space is better because it gives you more colors to work with. Either way you go, you need to calibrate your system. Do some searches on the Internet for working with sRBG or RGB or whatever color space you want. But stick with one and with practice and calibration you'll get the results you want. Again, these were printed with no manipulation in Photoshop.
