Additionally, the Imacon would have rendered the Agfa grain very differently. That's the primary reason I haven't sold everything for the D1s -- I like film grain. OTOH, if this were a scan from a negative it would probably look MORE "digital" especially in the transitions and separations of the very darkest tones (at least that's where I see the 'giveaway' on the prints from scans I make on my Minolta MultiPro (4800dpi). The way the D1s handles these low tones is simply beautiful. Gilbert P.S.
