Actually the appropriate terminology for "something else" is "the last
straw." I wanted to use a combination of EOS glass (70-200 f4 and 300 f4)
with R glass (60mm Macro, 90mm Elmarit, 19mm Elmarit and a to be purchased
35mm Summilux) with an EOS 3, EOS RT and Leicaflex SL, however the 19mm
doesn't work on either EOS body nor on the SL. The 19mm R is a spectacular
lens and with the 70-200 would have been the two most utilized pieces in my
bag. When I realized the 19mm wouldn't work on the EOS (knowing already it
doesn't fit the SL), the decision to dump the R gear was the logical thing
to do.

Mark, thank you again for clarifying this matter.
