Hansen, the Leica <br>valhalla is here as is Adorama and Duggals, the big custom processing center. B&H <br>Camera is a few blocks west. Walking around the district in the dusk you can <br>see strobe flashes coming from studio windows in lofts and office buildings. <br>The area is dotted with trendy expense account eateries. The majority of New <br>York's model agencies are located nearby. They can be found by noting the <br>migration paths of stunningly beautiful skinny women carrying hatboxes. Many of the <br>fashion photos you see in magazines are shot in Gramercy Park, an elite <br>private park surrounded by elegant late 19th century mansions. Gramercy Park is at <br>Lexington Ave. and 22st. <br><br>I had various offices in the area for about 30 years, usually within a block <br>of Gramercy Park.
