I was watching that CL thread with great interest

You see, I just bought one.  And got it with a 40mm Summicron.

I was glad to read the praise you all have about the lens.

And looking through the finder, I am especially impressed that they had 
little numbers 40 and 50 on the frames.  I sure wish they had done that 
on the M6 finder.  It obviously isn't beyond Leica's ability to have 
little numbers on the framelines.

It is a very nice looking and simple camera and I am not certain that it 
deserves all the abuse that some heaped on it.

It's upcoming life with me may not be as strenuous as a working pro's 
camera, so I am hoping that it will do fine.
