Ok, people in their teens then. They'd still have been brats with hormones
doing the strangest things to them. I'm sure their response to that would be
'No they're not, you all hate me, I didn't ask to be born!'

Teenagers didn't exist in 4000 BC.  They were created in the 1950s in 
response to manufacturing companies' desire for new markets to sell 
goods to.
