I love my Ms, and have three aspheric lenses. But quite frankly, the only time I can see the difference between what I get shooting with the Leica glass and what I get shooting with my Nikon 71-35, 60 macro, 85 1.4, and 180 2.8 is when I shoot with the zoom set below about 24 mm. At that point the edge/perspective distortion is MUCH better corrected in the M 21 ASPH. Otherwise, it's virtually impossible to tell what's shot with what. In fact, one of the things I like about the 85 1.4 Nikon lens is that it's output is virtually indistinguishable from that of the stunning 75 Summilux - except that it gives me longer reach. But then I'm generally shooting Tri-X - more often than not at 800 asa - and always handheld. B. I doubt anyone could tell the difference from one brand to another. If you look at a lens test, the differences really only become apparent at much larger magnifications which are impossible to dicern in a small print. For so many the investment in high end equipment is really overkill in terms of quality in the small color print. Bob Haight - --- bdcolen <bdcolen@earthlink.net> wrote: > Come off it, Randy.
