down. I have worked for Digital Domain for nearly 10 years on the fx teams
for films like Apollo 13, True Lies, Interview with the Vampire, The Grinch
Who Stole Xmas, Terminator 2/3D, Titanic etc. I was the compositing
supervisor (digital optical printing) on Red Planet and Vanila Sky and have
won a few awards like a Clio for the theatrical spot for Adidas with the
Mechanical Legs playing imaginary basketball. The last thing I did was a
theatrical Nike spot that ran this July. It was called Speed Chain and
featured a "relay" race between a runner, horse, train etc.The last two were
directed by David Fincher and ran on something like 6000-8000 screens in the
US.

I do have a good grasp on the technology and a track record to be able to
make the comment that HD is not really a replacement for film, regardless of
what Rodrigues says.
