To answer your question, for years, I have used radio remotes w/ my
Leica reflexes, both R ands SL-Mot types.
I have old Dynalite RSS-C units. The only worthwhile radio remote around
today at the Pocket Wizard.
Your biggest problem, will be getting a cord custom made to fit the
Leica R- release outlet.
