In the summer a few years ago my wife put a few things in storage in the AGA oven. On a cold day I started the AGA and we had a lot of melted plastic storage containers a few hours later. Sometimes we have no electricity here, usually in the winter. Then coal fired AGA is hard to beat. (Oil fired central heatings do not work without electricity, and we have no natural gas here) A slow-cooked, like half a day, soup from the AGA is out of this world. Posession does not count, not at all. Usage does. I have no unused Leicas. I store my two in-use Leicas in tea cosies that I put in my rucksack.
