I have and use both (I have the pancake version of the 2.5) I prefer the 1.7. The 1.7 gives me results that are at least equal to my 1980's vintage 35 summicron Mark

You can get the adaptors from Stephen Gandy at www.cameraquest.com.
Which 35? There are 4 of them.
