Actually, Ted, Eric was responding to my simple
question of why he decided to use an R8 as opposed to
an M for photographing his new family member. I don't
think he was griping about the M. I think he's
actually saying what you're saying, use the right tool
for the right job. In his world, the SLR, according to
him, allows him greater close focus control than the
M. That's all.
But there I go again, getting in between the dog and
the tree :-) Just thought I should interject as it was
my post that prompted Eric's remark.
Going home now to me wife, kids, dogs and scotch; sure
beats working!
